Serbian companies presented their eco solutions at the TO Design 2013 in Turin!
‘Strawberry energy’, ‘Alt Energetika Plus’ and ‘Belkond’ companies, in cooperation with Enterprise Europe Network Serbia and Total Idea Marketing and Consulting Agency, have presented their ecological concepts at the eco design event “TO Design 2013” in Turin in organization of Turin Chamber of Commerce, in the period from 27th to 28th of June, 2013.
Chosen by the organizers as some of the best European practices on eco-sustainable solutions, three Serbian companies had shown the present audience how great innovative and creative potential our country has. Strawberry energy presented its public solar chargers for mobile devices Strawberry Trees, ‘Alt Energetika Plus’ their ecological toys made of wood and other eco-materials, while ‘Belkond’ presented its SunGrill solar cooker.
“It is our great honor that Turin Chamber of Commerce recognized the value of our work and invited us to present our innovations. On behalf of all three companies, I want to thank European Enterprise Network for the support, as well as to Total Idea Marketing and Consalting Agency, due to whose support we had the opportunity to participate in this international event. I hope this is the beginning of a nice cooperation with numerous stakeholders from all over the Europe”, said Tijana Manitašević, member of Strawberry energy marketing team and their representative at the TO Design event.
During the second part of the event, according to previously defined schedules, companies’ representatives had many meetings with European industrial designers, engineering companies, research centers and representatives of institutions of different profiles, with the aim of considering future potential cooperation. Positive reactions to ecological products coming from Serbia are just indicator that our country has a lot to offer to the world market.
TO Design 2013 is the B2B event aimed at putting in contact manufacturing companies and top level designers and enhancing the development of new products and processes. The final objective of TO Design 2013 is to realize synergies between manufacturing companies and designers, in order to improve an innovative and more environmentally friendly production. The brokerage event is aimed at investigating new sustainable solutions to innovate the production through the attentive study of the companies’ characteristics.
‘Strawberry energy’ is young Serbian Company guided by the idea of “Making the world a better place”. After winning the first place at the “Sustainable energy week 2011” in organization of the European Commission in Brussels, value of the company’s work has been recognized internationally, and this year the Strawberry Tree has been presented at the world portal ‘Mashable’ as one of the 25 technologies every smart city should have.
‘Alt Energetika Plus’ is founded in September 2010 as the project and distribution company of the energy product ranges from Sanyo and Ansmann, as well as manufacturing segment “Ekoto”. With the aim of developing and becoming a big company, AEP is complied by specified code of conducts through which wants to establish significant social position, develop high quality relation with its partners and care for the environmental protection.
‘Belkond’ specializes in the manufacture of sheet metal and steel structures in construction for a wide use. Sungrill solar Systems are the part of ‘Belkond’ industry. Their aim is to promote the use of solar energy in different ways. One of them is SUNGRIL solar cooker that is completely developed by their experts and successfully tested. It is also completely ecologically conceived and is completely recyclable.
